Fresh From The Sea To Your Plate.

How to purchase fresh seafood:
  1. View our local fishermen profiles, and search by species (shrimp, crabs, etc.). Make a few phone calls to determine what’s in season, prices and place an order. The fishermen prefer to take orders in advance of making a trip.
  2. Check out the Fresh Catch messages to see reports directly from fishermen. Fishermen at the dock with extra product to sell will post a message here. A click on a latest catch message will bring you directly to the profile of the fisherman that posted the message.
Hours of operation and location:  You can determine when and where by speaking directly to the fisherman when you place your order.

More Information
The local fishers and businesses, along with partners LSU Ag Center and Sea Grant, have created a marketplace where consumers are able to contact seafood producers (fisherman) directly to purchase fresh shrimp and other seafood when they arrive at the dock.  Boats dock and sell their catch directly to the public.

Quality wild-caught American seafood, all caught the traditional way is now available on a seasonable basis. Local frozen seafood is also available if desired.

Take a short drive and treat your family to the finest quality shrimp and seafood available . . . anywhere. It’s a great value and naturally healthy—once you taste local you’ll never buy foreign seafood again!
